Super happy to share the latest The Stella's video with you featuring clothes from the Shrimpton Couture Racks! Jump to see!
Stylist Nadia Pizzimenti popped by the Shrimpton Couture studio's a few weeks back and grabbed herself an armful of 1940s and early 1950s pieces to style The Stella's latest video. Lead singer Marylynne wears a netted blue, early Norman Hartnell gown through all of her scenes — the dramatic skirts are spread out all around her as her and husband, Brad duet. All the dresses you see through the video are wonderful 1940s unlabeled, perfect little beauties. One small insider snippet — the fantastic crepe taupey pink dress in the opening shots is actually a 1970s piece in moss crepe, because in the 70s they where taking "inspiration" from the forties. Things never really do change do they?
Enjoy this stunning video. I want to leap into the frames and have a picnic in that same field — don't you? But only if I get that drool worthy car! (sorry about the commercial in the front of the video — I am waiting for the non-youTube version but was too excited to share it so just look at Vogue for 30 seconds or something)
