Wearing Vintage — Elisabeth von Thurn [Day Five]

Another great look from Elisabeth von Thorn for her Vogue's Five Days, Five Looks, One Girl feature. I posted Day Three's outfit below but I have to say I love this one more. The colors the contrast of prints and textures. This look is bang on for me on several levels! Love it!
Her notes on her Day 5 ensemble: I definitely felt dressed up on my way to dinner with friends at En Japanese Brasserie, but I’m a huge fan of this spectacular zebra-print va-va-voom dress by Michael Kors. It has a very ladylike, body-hugging cut, which is quite unusual for me but exactly what I like about it. I try to break out of the predictable sometimes, especially at night. To me, dressing up has to be fun—otherwise I might as well wear a sack! I paired the dress with a stripy finch coat from the sixties, which I purchased recently at the vintage market on Twenty-fifth Street. The whole look felt very La Dolce Vita–esque, so I added my sparkly Miu Miu heels for a dash of color and playfulness... ... This Miu Miu clutch was a gift. I love the granny feel, especially the clasp. Grannies can be huge style inspirations.
