At times the similarity between old and new is mind boggling. I recently received an email from Net-A-Porter promoting one of the latest trends — patchwork pieces — and in a universal sheer coincidence moment,had to shake my head a bit as I had just posted these patchwork pieces literally 3 days before! Both the old and the new in this case are fabulous and a smart girl will choose either an original or a new and work it into her wardrobe. OK I am biased towards the old of course but I will forgive you if you work vintage in elsewhere if you decide it is the new versions that work for you!
