Three Degrees of Kelly

I cannot think of a better way to launch my new blog then with a combination of contributions from two of my favorite girls who just happen to run two of my favorite blogs — The Glamourai and Tales of Endearment.
I "met" Kelly a few years back when her only exposure to the world of jewels was her do-it-yourself projects on her then fledgling blog. I fell in love with her designs and contacted her. Soon we struck up an e-friendship and one thing led to another and the next thing we both knew, a small capsule collection of Glamourai jewels, made of a mix of vintage baubles and Kelly's insanely perfect eye for beauty, landed at Shrimpton Couture... ... .
Over the years we have repeated that collaboration many times over and have I loved working with her. Her star has continually risen, as I knew it would, and I hope those early pieces done for Shrimpton Couture are one day hallmarked as extremely sought after vintage collectables! I have a feeling they were a great investment for the lucky girls that snagged them!

While clients gobbled up her pieces, she managed to also snag a piece or two of vintage from my treasures here and there. I have to tell you — I always feel especially happy when I see her in pieces that I sourced. It's like the bonding of two of my favorite things — vintage and friendship — and I always know that she will do my pieces the greatest of justice with her own unique and infallible styling of them.
So when she popped me an email a couple of weeks back to let me know that a girl name Natalie Joos had shot her for the blog Tales of Endearment and that she had worn some pieces from my shop I walked around the rest of the day with the hugest of grins on my face.
You see, unknown to Kelly, I had already struck up a e-friendship with Natalie as well. I had emailed her a few months ago to let her know how wonderful I thought her blog was and asked to post some pictures that featured some of my clients.

The Internet, as vast as it is, is akin to a small village at times isn't it?
Kelly's shoot turned out beautifully. If you love vintage I know you have already seen these shots as you can't help but know of both, or at least one of these two fantastic blogs. But I don't think you can really tire of looking at these shots. Natalie has a gift for creating a beautiful shot and capturing a moment and Kelly has the gift of styling an outfit to perfection. I also love that Kelly has worn and shown both these outfits before — you get a sneak peek into how to slightly change the elements of an outfit and get a different feel by switching out what you wear with a piece, so I have included those shots as well.
This blog is about fabulous girls wearing and loving vintage. What better way to start off then with the result of two fabulous girls combining their mutual love for vintage?
