Vintage + Shoes = The S/S 2012 DAVIDS Campaign

One of our favorite stylists about town, Nadia Pizzimenti, popped into the studios a few weeks back to raid the racks and pull for the S/S 2012 Davids Footwear Toronto campaign. Since my favorite combination is to mix beautiful vintage pieces with the best of the best from modern shoes, I have been on pins and needles to see if any of my Shrimpton Couture frocks made the final cut. You can just imagine the squealing and jumping from the entire SC team when not one piece, but two were used in the campaign! The 1970s jumpsuit in the photos below is already long gone to a new girl, but the gorgeous dress shown above can be found for sale. The campaign was shot in the lobby of the newly opened Trump Tower by Ryan Ayash and the full set of final photos can currently be seen on the front page of the Davids website and soon will be in print all across Canada!

PS that last picture — that is actually a picture of Nadia goofing around in the studio. I pulled it off of Ryan's tumblr. Don't you love it?
