Wearing Vintage [Kim Kardashian in Valentino]

Yeah I know I did not think I would be posting a Kim Kardashian picture here either. But the girl does wear vintage and I feel a little for her since that whole flour bombing incident. You can choose not to wear fur and you can choose to stand up for your beliefs — I applaud both actions. But you should also choose not to scare the crap out of another human being by throwing things at them. Yes it was harmless, but we live in a world where shit thrown at other people seems most likely not to be harmless anymore. And it is scary. If I went to an event and someone threw stuff at me I would be a wreck. I would have probably had a full out panic attack that I was about to die from some weird chemical something.
Everyone seems to love vintage these days — let's also embrace some old fashion morals and try to remember that you should treat each other how you want to be treated. It is irrelevant if you love Kim or hate her, irrelevant if you think she should or should not wear fur and irrelevant if you choose to wear fur or not wear fur. You still can't throw things at other people. That part is a clear cut and dry no no. The rest is an issue one girl at one event with one handful of flour is incapable of solving and certainly won't make headway by going about it like that. It is just not an easy fix problem — most stuff is not these days it seems. Democracy means we all get our opinions and boy, there are lots of em huh? Let's start with fixing how we act towards each other as a species then take that love and help out the rest of the planet.
This is an older picture from an event that Kim went to a couple of years ago but I thought it sweet that she recycled this gorgeous vintage Valentino dress out of her mom's closet.
